In Progress - Life and Photography

I fell in love with photography when I was 14. I went to a Photo camp during one summer and learned a lot about all of the basics. That was also the first time I experienced the Dark Room. It was so exciting that I definitely decided to learn more. When it got time to enroll into a high school I luckily got in to School of Applied Art and Design in Zagreb, same school as my mother. First year was awesome and I never regretted the decision to take that path in life. I had classes in drawing, sculpting, Art history and all of the basics.

After that amazing year it was time to choose a department and I got in to the Photography section. Next three years I spent learning a lot about B&W photography, studio lighting, digital photography and flash studio lightning, we learned a lot about Photoshop and all of the things that are necessary to showcase your art.

After graduating with a final theme of Fashion photography with a lot of help from friends that helped with modeling, costumes and make up it was time to find ''The way in life'' after high school. It took me three years to finally buy a digital camera of my own and get back to photography and enjoying it.

 

In 2014 I got an amazing opportunity to start photographing people who wanted a private photo-session or affordable wedding or occasional photos.  I also started Project photos for everybody later in 2015 and collaborated with professional and amateur models, make up artists and designers. That was back home and I had a great time!

From the Camera - Three Years Ago Part 2

Three years ago I took some photos of beautiful pink and white daisies. I had recently bought my camera so I used every opportunity to go out and take photos. I should do that more often now. :)  Photos were taken in a park called Zrinjevac back in Zagreb, Croatia. In next post I will show you some local architecture. :)

Going through my old photos I came across some that were taken exactly three years ago. They were taken back home in Croatia and I plan to take some here in the Netherlands for comparison.
